move toward the watering hole, completely unfazed by the chaos around her, she suddenly looked up—locking eyes with

There’s so much to say about this magical evening in McCullough Peaks. Surrounded by a herd of nearly 70 mustangs, I
soaked in the last moments of sunlight before darkness fell. The horses moved peacefully, comfortable with our quiet
presence as we simply watched and admired.
Then, I spotted this mustang, perfectly framed against the setting sun, scratching his neck on a fencepost—completely
content, just like we were. A simple, beautiful moment of wild serenity.

One of the things I love most about mustangs is how social they are. As I watched this moment unfold, it felt like a true
